Supporting Reasearch and Education since 1959

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation is dedicated to advancing the long-term development, health and well-being of the specialty and the public it serves through financial support of research and education consistent with the goals of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

We are proud to have given back more than $10 million to the specialty in research awards, fellowships and specialty-focused projects. OMSF-supported research and advanced fellowships are shaping the future of the specialty.

REAP

"The future viability and relevancy of our specialty depends upon a perpetual source of substantial funding for research and education; one that will provide the spark for innovation and discovery that can distinguish and power our specialty into the future. We need REAP to succeed! All it takes is a little bit from everybody, every year."
 - Dr. James A. Davis, Jr.
OMS Foundation Chair

REAP - Research and Education Advance Patient care is shaping the future of the oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty. Since its inception in 2005, REAP has raised more than $4 million to support research and education in our specialty. Annual gifts to REAP help insure that our specialty will have the necessary funds for meaningful support of research and fellowships, now and in the future. By supporting REAP, you have the opportunity to be a part of continuing and growing the innovation that keeps our specialty at the forefront, where we should be and must be.

What is the difference between an OMSF Annual Membership Gift (AMG)and a gift to REAP?

Your $165 AMG is a contribution to the core support of OMSF, for operational and programmatic needs: the working capital that OMSF needs to carry out its strategic mission. Your gift to REAP supports research and education in the specialty. AMGs and REAP gifts are vital for OMSF to continue to be able to serve the specialty.
